How long are the courses?

VIC-5+1 days of Intensive Interactive Training.

Salesperson & Property Managers Certificate 4 days of Intensive Interactive Training.

Full Real Estate Agents Licence 6 days of Intensive Interactive Training.

Upgrade to Full Real Estate Licence – 2 days of Intensive Interactive Training.

Will all learning be completed within the course dates?

Most assessments and learning occur during workshops; some written tasks may be completed outside class.

Does anyone fail?

No; students are assessed as competent or not yet competent. Support is provided to help everyone succeed.

Where are courses held?

Queensland: Brisbane (Chermside), South Brisbane, Sunshine Coast (Birtinya), Gold Coast (Robina), Toowoomba, Mackay, Townsville, Cairns

Victoria: Southbank, Geelong, Frankston Zoom options are also available.

What time do courses run?

Daily sessions: 9:00am–4:00pm

Do I need to bring anything?

Laptop or device, notebook, pen, and readiness to learn.

Are courses face-to-face or online?

Inperson in class Face-to-face, live Zoom interactive sessions, or independent learning.

What are the entry requirements?

No prerequisites for Salesperson Certificate or Agent Representative. Must be 18+ with basic literacy and numeracy skills. Upgrade to Full Licence requires specific Units of Competency.

What is the difference between the Full Licence and Salesperson Certificate or Agent Representative?

Salesperson Certificate or Agent Representative allows work under a licensed agent. Full Licence allows independent operation, trust account management, and business responsibility. CPT provides qualifications; licensing is through the Office of Fair Trading or Consumer Affairs.

I’m purchasing Management Rights, which Licence do I need?

Full Real Estate Agent Licence is usually required.

I’m going to be a Property Manager, which Licence do I need?

Salesperson Certificate or Agent Representative Certificate is minimum; Full Licence required to operate your own business.

Is this certificate all I need to work in Real Estate?

The certificate is required for employment; registration with Office of Fair Trading or Consumer Affairs is also necessary.

Do you offer CPD training?

Yes, CPT provides CPD sessions for all agent types via Zoom or face-to-face to meet compliance requirements
